This region offers a real journey through flavors: various kinds of places where you can find a wide variety of alternatives to discover Ligurian cuisine, from fish dishes to the famous focaccia, prepared and enriched with the most delicious ingredients, olives, onions, pesto, and the famous cheese focaccia.

Strolling through the alleyways you are amazed by the inviting scents of bakeries and focaccerie that always churn out hot focaccia at all hours: perfect consumed on the beach, as a snack, lunch or dinner; once you taste it you will not forget it.

Your Portofino Experience Includes:

Day 1 – Arrival + Welcome 

Arrive in Portofino, settle in and unwind with a sunset aperitivo and seaside welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Explore the Coast and Seaside Festival: 

After breakfast we’ll head to the annual Fish Festival of Saint Fortunato! The entire town will come alive for this vibrant event, with a fabulous local market offering a true taste of Tuscany’s treasures. This is a vibrant celebration of fishing heritage, community spirit and local cuisine held each year in honour of San Fortunato, the patron saint of fishermen.

With origins dating back to the 17th century, the festival is one of Liguria’s oldest and most cherished traditions. What began as a celebration marking the start of the fishing season has evolved into a major cultural event, drawing both locals and visitors to Piazza Colombo, the heart of Camogli. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by stalls offering local crafts and traditional Ligurian specialities, creating a festive seaside setting.

More than a gastronomic event, the Camogli Fish Festival is a celebration of Ligurian maritime culture, offering an authentic taste of coastal Italy and an unforgettable experience rooted in centuries-old tradition.

Day 3 –  Seaside Villages 

Start with a fabulous breakfast and a stunning guided walk along the Ligurian coast, an optional swim at Portofino’s iconic beach Baia Cannone and a seaside Portofinese Spritz cocktail at Al Faro, a lovely bar on a cliff edge, part of Portofino’s Lighthouse.  This evening we will have a private sunset boat tour followed by an intimate wine tasting with a local sommelier, featuring regional wines and private dinner. 

Day 4 – Culture + Castles + Cooking 

In Portofino every nook is to be discovered and is one of the symbolic places of Liguria and one that is known all over the world. Magnificent small maritime village, nestled in the green of its promontory and embraced by the sea that reflects the pastel colors of the houses arranged in a semicircle around the famous Piazzetta, as well as the exclusive restaurants, cafés and shops. We will visit historic Castello Brown, a historic fortress with beautiful Mediterranean gardens, panoramic views of the Ligurian coast, and interiors with art, antique furnishings, and exhibits about Portofino's history. Cooking class followed by sunset Cocktails at Hotel Splendido Belmond followed by dinner by the sea.

Day 5 – 

After breakfast we will visit Santa Margherita Ligure, a beautiful village that shows all the faces of the Liguria Riviera: a small characteristic village and a little port animated by fishermen, but also a place full of picturesqeu, refined cafés for an aperitif or for a pleasant evening in front of the sea. There will also be an optional wine tastings or choose your own adventure day. Special “dinner en blanc” farewell experience this evening, seaside.

Day 6-

Final breakfast and departure day

Please note: Registration for Soul Sparkle Experiences are non-refundable, however they are transferrable. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place. The above is our proposed itinerary to give you an idea of the experience and the final itinerary will be provided prior to the event.

Special Note: As part of your participation in our events, it is required that you purchase the necessary travel insurance. Since this experience in non-refundable, we ask that you select the cancel for any reason optional policy in case you are unable to attend the event. We will provide all information and our preferred partner to purchase this insurance upon registration.
